Paper goes down crooked and won't print

Hi
Depending on where you live this may be 1 of 2 different problems. If you live in the part of the country that is now experiencing all this humidity then that is probably the problem. The paper has absorbed a lot of water. This happens to mine all the time. I keep the paper separate from the printer on these humid days. If not then the paper feed tire may be dirty or actually need replacing. To clean, take all the paper out of the machine, take a single piece of paper and pour a little rubbing alcohol on the end. Enough to cover about two inches of the leading edge. Allow most of the liquid to evaporate. Now put the piece of paper in the paper slot. Send any small print job to the printer. When the piece of paper begins to enter the printer, hold on to it to prevent its entry. The printer will error after a couple seconds, but the cleaning process should be complete. Take the paper out completely and discard. Reset the printer and fill the printer with fresh, dry paper. Printing should now be OK. If not the printer roller itself needs replacing. Good luck

I purchased a HP1515n LaserJet in August 2008.

Hi Hatangadi, i believe this issue is a manufacturing fault. Several 1515n's have the same fault. tray settings, printer default settings have been checked and where appropriate have had differences changed. Also cleaning messages frequently appear. No firmware remedy is offered, nor fixes. Poor customer advice and support, we're slowly embracing samsung brand printers after a long standing reliance on HP quality.

The paper jams, and clicking noise, won't feed then.

try reinstalling the device driver. Or you can try doing maintenance task on your printer settings. If you are using windows xp system. you can check out the settings in control panel > printers and faxes. then right click on the printer and see if there are maintenance features available. do a paper feed test and other maintenance tasks.

I hope this works, pm me if problem still persists. :) thank you .

HP DeskJet 1560 - multiple paper feed

This link may not help you to print duplex, but it will possibly explain why you're having problems...Make sure you fan the paper before loading it. You might try putting a fan on it to dry out the ink as it prints...or try a heavier paper. Good luck! If you google duplexer feed problem you'll see this is the subject of numerous patents and attempts to resolve the very difficulty you are having.
(Maybe another of the same model would work better? Hp should exchange it if it's not working, no?)

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Nothing prints out on paper

This could be from a dried print head. I have had this before. I fix mine by taking a paper towel folding it up a few times and then putting some rubbing alcohol on it then I take the ink cartridge and rest them on it till I see the ink start flowing again. Hope this helps.

HP Photosmart 8450 Paper Feed Issue

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Pixma ip1500 permanent paper jam-with video showing

the problem is with the software of your printer.. here's what you should do.. install back your printer, and then turn on your computer.. press ctrl + shift + escape.. this will open the task manager.. on the task manager, look for spool.exe and end its process... afterwards, try to reboot your computer.. i just hope this will work.. and please don't disassemble your printer again.... if this won't work, send your printer back to the manufacturer and they will have it fixed for you.. ok?
