Fault f13 Our machine - WD640, we have had for less than a year. It has started displaying a flashing F13 signal on the display panel, this coincides with it no longer drying. It also gets stuck in this mode and we are unable to reset it or even turn it off. It still washes OK

I understand that your Frigidaire range is displaying an error code of "F13". An "F13" error code typically stands for a bad EEPROM (Erasable Programmable Memory) identification or check sum error. The best way to clear this code is to disconnect power from your range for roughly ten minutes. If you continue to experience an issue it could be a possible that you have a faulty board or wiring harness. I would then recommend having a professional out to perform a diagnosis on your range. F13 Indicates that you have a water intake fault. The machine is not receiving the the proper amount of water quantity. You could turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet hose. There is a filter inside, to remove the filter you have to take out the seal and then you could use a pair of needle nose pliers to take out the filter basket. If the filter is clean you and your water supply is good, you have a problem with your flow meter not registering pulses when the water is taken in.

F13 indicates High Dryer Temperature.
Check the dryer motor runs OK and that the fan isn't hanging off. (You'll hear it if it is).
Check the connections to the dryer NTC (temperature sensor on top of dryer)
Check the condenser isn't blocked (under the fan motor, plastic unit going down the rear of the tub).
If all checks out OK, try changing the dryer NTC.

Whirlpool AWO 'F13' decodes as 'dispenser circuit failure'. If you have tried switching off and back on again and it is still there I suspect it means that you will have to call an engineer. Sorry ;-0(

Control's internal memory may have
become corrupted.

1- Press Cancel key.
2- If fault returns disconnect power, wait 30 seconds and
reapply power.
3- If the problem persists upon power-up replace the display
board.

take the kick panel off there are 3 torques 15 screw or 7 millimeter. remove them and on the left side you will find the tech sheet find out what f13 means and let me know.

Hi, that indicates that either the fan motor is not working/ blocked or the dryer thermistor (thermostatic sensor) is playing up. Of course, the pcb reads the sensor so it could also be that causing the error.

i phoned Sears about error code f13 on a gas range, and was told to unplug the range for 30 minutes. i think she meant 30 seconds - to reprogram the microchip. i unplugged it for 15 minutes or so, then reconnected, and it worked.

Plug off the wall. There is a thin rubber tube going from the switch area to the exit near the outlet tube. Probably this is blocked. This tube should be free from any blockage; take out the top clip from this tube and blow into it - it should be free, clear the blockage if any and refit. This is the water level tube which tells the machine when to switch off water, etc.....

f13 means the dryer heater is not working the thermal fuse on top of the dryer that connects inline with the heater is open circuit this is most likely due to the fan dropping and stalling causing the overheat or poor airflow due to a buildup of fluff in the dryer
