Question about Panasonic PT-53TW53 53" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
The color in the tv went to red smeared on the screen. After reseting the tv it will no longer stay on. Do you have any suggestions?
If one color goes out of control, the TV will auto turn off for safety reasons. Sounds like a red bias resistor has burned out. A tech will be needed to trace this problem. Sometimes there is a knob behind the front TV speaker panel for adjusting the color bias levels. You could try to mess with it if you are able to find it. I would just get a tech. Could be a cheap repair.
