Its "network adapters" in device manager, if there only 1it will say ethernet, if theres 2 it will say wireless also if there is 2 but 1 has a cross on it that means the drivers are not installed

if it is installed you have to activate it if not you need to buy a wireless dongle/reciever and install the divers with the disk that comes with it

Things That Affect Wireless Router Signals
1. Many wireless routers are using the same wireless channel. Many manufacturers choose channel 6 as the default. Change to another channel. 2. Analogue video senders used to send audio and video to other TVs in the home. 3. Microwave ovens emit interference in the 2.4GHz band. 4. Wireless speakers and console controllers can cause interference with the wireless router. 5. Bluetooth devices, newer Bluetooth devices can jump to different frequencies if there is a connection problem. 6. Power cables located near the wireless router can cause dropouts and speed reduction. 7. Fish tanks and mirrors will cause massive Wi-Fi shadow on the other side of the tank from the wireless router. 8. Depending upon the location of large mirrors will reflect wireless signal away your computer. 9. Building materials will block wireless signals such as plasterboards with metal foil, reinforced concrete walls and floors. Also objects near the wireless router such as metal filing cabinets and other electrical appliances. 10. Blinking Christmas lights can reduce Wi-Fi performance by 25% when it is close to the wireless router.

I have No wireless connections

Have you followed the procedure described on page 70 of the Asus User Guide for your laptop to use the Fn + F2 keys to turn on your wireless radio - and do you see the normal wireless led indicator lit?

If yes, then you will probably need to do a diagnose & repair (or troubleshoot problems) depending on which version of Windows you are using. Right click on the wireless connection indicator in the bottom right area of the Windows Status bar and take the option from there.

If you normally only hibernate your laptop rather than powering it off fully, try doing a full power off and restart as hibernation can sometimes get the wireless adapter in a strange state.

Lastly, check that you only have one wireless manager enabled, i.e. use the Windows Zero Configuration manager by preference.

I m using a toshiba L310 laptop & it was fine with a wireless internet connection but suddenly it lost connection & its not connecting anymore. what can I do now?

restart your comp and your router, if that doesnt help try and update your drivers to your wireless card in your comp., if everything is updated and the wireless in you comp is searching then it might be the router, they commonly overheat for heavy use

My laptop used to connect to the wireless connection , but one day it stopped working and now i can only connect to internet using a lan cable

go into the device manager and uninstall the wireless adapter. Then click scan for hardware changes and let windows resinstall it. It sounds like a corrupt driver. Before doing so make sure you didnt hit the wireless button that shuts off the connection on the computer. :)
