Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S40 Digital Camera

E 6120 PROBLEM

PLEASE, I NEED SOME HELP WITH THIS CAMERA. IT SHOWS A "E 6120" PROBLEM. THE CAMERA STARTS NORMALLY, BUT IN THE SCREEN SHOWS THIS ERROR. I´LL APRECIATE SO MUCH IF SOMEBODY CAN TELL ME HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. AND SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH! THANKS!

I wouldn't worry about thst 61:20 problem ( a lens problem I think) unless it is affecting your picture taking, I have the same thing on my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S40 camera and I find my little camera still takes beautiful photos with no problems, although when I turn my camera on itmakes some noise and access comes on the screen.

My camera shows an on-screen message says: "Format Error". I formatted the memory card but the problem still there. what to do? should I replace the camera built-in software?


First of all u try to format card in another camera. If problem still remaining, u will change ur card. Normally this problem by the card.

If this camera just show blue screen it means that the LCD or he mainboard of the camera is defective., is this error code display also a number., usually it will also display the error code number.

If you have this error code please call tech support toll free 1 800 235 6325 and send the camera for repair
