Question about Jenn-Air JGS8850BDS Stainless steel Gas Kitchen Range
I have a Jenn-Air JGS8850BDS Stainless steel Gas Kitchen Range with an igniter that I need to replace.
The problem that you're describing is commonly associated with the spark modulator. It usually occurs after a spill or when the ignitor electrodes have remained wet after a cleaning. If after a day or two it continues to spark intermittently on its own, then the only recourse would be to replace the module. Hope this helps,,,, Bill

took off the knob to the ignition system to clean and spray got onto the ignition under the dial and now the two front burners won't ignite unless I turn on one of the functional back burners then turn on the front burner. How do I repair this?

I just replaced the panel overlay on my stove and that did fix the problem (of the 3,6,9 buttons not working). I found the part for under $110 on line and replaced it myself.

Can you verify which burner it is that won`t ignite/burn properly ?
I should be able to help, but I just need some clarity. I`ll watch for your reply.
