Question about Epson Stylus C62 InkJet Printer

Printing from Microstation to Epson Stylus C62 printer

Hi. I cannot print drawings from Microstation to my Epson C62 printer. Does the printer have a 'plotter driver file' that can be installed? Do you think this would help? I have added the printer to my hard drive, but the Microstation programme will not acknowledge or list it as an option to print to....

Pleas help,

Many thanks.

Hi AW

More info is needed. Does the printer print normally from Windows programs? Is the "microstation" running under Windows, or if not, what operating system? If it's not a standard operating system that has C62 drivers (DOS, Windows, Linux, Mac), you will have to write your own driver I'm afraid. Let me know.

No printing on epson c62 inkjet

Hi songerjohn

Turn off the printer. Click on start-control panel-printers and faxes. Double-click the printer icon and delete/cancel all print jobs listed. Then reboot the computer and turn on the printer. It should now print normally.

If it doesn't you will need to uninstall the printer using the Control Panel-Add/remove Programs-Epson Printer Software. After you have done all this, turn OFF the printer, reboot the computer and then re-install the printer. Make sure you keep the printer turned off until the installation program asks you to turn it on.

If none of this helps, or you want further information, please report back. If this solution has been helpful, please rate it.

You can go into the properties of the printer, and set it up to print everything in black only. This is the only way to FORCE the machine to use black ink for everything. The drawback to this, is that when you want to print something in color you will have to go back into your printer's properties and uncheck the black only option.

In view of the original poster's lack of interest, I think we can call this one "Solved by Poster".
