Lost my charger

I have got a hitachi hdc656e digital camera, unfortunatly i have lost my charger... its my sons 1st birthday on tuesday and i am desperate to find a new one before then. i have tried surfing the net and have tried ebay but not had much luck as im new with the net. do you know where i can purchase a new one? thanks kailey

Lost pictures


Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for:

You will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're cheap:

Not able to charge battery


This happened to me also. In the manual it says the flashing light means that the battery/charger needs to be cleaned, or if that doesn't work, it is dead. My husband called customer service and they actually sent us a new battery which we recieved within a few days. The number is 1 800 706 2534.

Camera On/Off Button won't work


hello Dora, I suggest u not to open the camera yourself because there is a plastic moulded circuit with on/off and snap switch, if it got damaged, it should be replaced with new one. So that it is better to go repair shop, better to go Nikon shop.
