Question about Miele Washing Machines
Seems to be a problem with inlet valve. On start up the drum fills with water and overflows
Possible but unlikely. If you unplug the machine does the water flow? If not, the problem is the water level switch. Generally, this is a diaphragm switch connected via a tube to the bottom of the tub. It usually is about 2 or three inches in diameter, has a water tube and a few wires connected. Go on a site with a blowup diagram and locate the switch. Disconnect the wires...after noting where they go and with the power off. Insulate them. Does this stop the water flow? Buy the switch.
