Need new card, system requirements confusing

My ATI-Radeon X800 XL video card took a poo, and when I try to load mycomputer, right after the windows loading screen I get the Blue screensaying Caught in an infinate loop. I was told I needed to get a newVideo Card, but the one I use I dont think is even availible now, andwhen I go to shop online it gives a bunch of system requirements, and Ido not know how to make sure I have that.

The issue is that my card is not a PCI-E, it is an AGP. All the ones that match the information on my card are pulling up PCI-E. This card is atleast 4 years old so a good chance that they no longer make this as an AGP, which is aiding to my confusion.

Radeon X800 XL is a PCI-E (PCI-Express) card, you can replace it with any current ATI or nVidia video card that uses the PCI-E slot. Since you already have a PCI-E card before, I would bet you already meet most of the system requirements.

The problem you might run into the AGP version, is that the original Radeon X800 XL AGP supported AGP2x/4x/8x, while most of the existing AGP card today do not explicitly support AGP2x anymore. Do you know what motherboard you have? If your motherboard currently supports AGP 4x, then any of the video cards on this listed page should work:

If your motherboard doesn't support AGP4x at least, you'll still find a new AGP 2x video cards out there... like:
