i know you stated you put the paper in correctlyin the printer but if the thermal reactive side of the paper is not facing the print head the thermal paper won't print on the wrong side of the paper. it will load into the printer and seem ok but the heat on the wrong side of the paper will not react and show any writing. Can you try turning the paper over in the printer feed holder so the other side of the paper faces the print head and give it another test .
Please check the paper size settings on the Printing Preferences option of the printer. To access this on your computer, to go Start > Devices and Printers (Printers folder) > right click the printer icon and then choose Printing Preferences. Set the Paper Size to the desired paper size. Please also make sure the paper guides on the printer is selected to the correct paper size.
Check your default paper settings in your setup menu. Also, check the paper size is set correctly on you paper trays for the type of paper that is in them. Make sure that the documents that you are printing are set to proper paper size that is in your printer. All the issues, will cause this condition plus some. But those are the easiest, let me know if it continues. Good Luck
Check your printer settings
(start>control panel>printer>right click this printer>printer preferences>paper quality>choose correct paper and size>click ok or done and close)
to be sure it is set for the same size and type of paper that you are using.
If it is set correctly, then there may be a tiny piece of paper lodged somewhere, or perhaps s small object such as a staple or paperclip.
Look in all areas that you possibly can . You could also try blowing the areas out with a little computer blower/cleaning tool. Be very careful if you do this/and remove the cartridges first. DO NOT USE HEAT.
Make sure that you secure the paper in the machine with the sizing mechanisms as well and that you fan the paper before you put it in. Place it neatly and snugly in the tray.
If you cannot get it to work, try opening up the printer paper jam door and pushing the printer roller up until it clicks. this will reset the printer and may release debris.
You can also try printing on smaller paper to see if you can get any paper through correctly and help clear a small jam. Again be sure to adjust your printer settings to the size you are using.
As a last resort, if nothing else works, perhaps the printer is stuck on an old paper setting. You can reset the printer by turning it off and unplugging it from the computer, waiting a few minutes and then plugging it back in and turning it on. give it plenty of time to go through its normal start up cycle before you try to print again.
It's the top rollers, the paper is too slick to get through them. I'm using HP photo paper, in an HP printer. It needs to do a 180, but gets jammed right where it prints, so the paper never makes it to the ink. It's an engineering problem by HP. I suggest putting a rough surface on the top edge of the photo paper, something removable but rough enough for the printer to pull the photo paper through.
Enter on the computer the follow path: 1. enter start menu 2. enter printers and faxes 3. enter by right click into properties 4. enter paper size settings 5. set the paper size for the tray or trays and press update then apply and ok after thet it will work Also see on the printer menu enter the same paper tray settings and set the trays by size but more important is to set the compute settings
The printer is asking for a spesivic tipe of paper size that is not loaded in the machine, cancel that print job, check that the paper settings on the program you whant to print from is correct, and reprint again. If that does not solve the problem you can check on the printer driver on the computer if the paper size settings is correctly set there.
Please check the following items: Check item 1: The cable may not be securely connected between a printer and a computer, or be about to be unconnected. Check that the cable is securely inserted into the ports of the printer and the computer respectively. If a USB hub is used, connect the printer and the computer directly.
