How to connect fujitsu 5515 laptop to panasonic tx-l22D28BP TV

Hi there
According to the specification here:
the Fujitsu laptop only has a VGA output for an external screen. It will be necessary therefore to connect this with a suitable VGA cable to the appropriate connector on the back of the TV, and the audio output from the computer to the appropriate audio connector on the back of the TV.
I found a manual for the TV here:
PANASONIC TXL19D28BW Operating Instructions Manual
It does apply to the 22 inch screen model as well. and by clicking on the green download button near the top of the screen, you can follow the instructions for a free copy of the manual which gives clear instructions for your connection requirements.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

Lamp on hitachi 50v500a is in the back

Been a while since I saw one of these sets--part of a class action lawsuit==if I remember lamp is behind a door that is clearly removed from outside of set--check or google here the model number with lamp location and You Tube has video instructions for changing the lamp itself.

I have a SONY TV KDF-E55A20, it turns on and off by itself, when I turn it on just can watch it for 5 seconds..more less, then thr Tv turn off and after other 5 seconds turn on by itself...and it keep...

The problem is the lamp has to be replaced. As it gets older and ready to fail outright, it will do this.
The lamp is located on the front lower left of center behind the front panel. There may be a thumb knob on back of each side that must be loosen, then the front panel pulls off. There is a door with another thumb knob on it. loosen the knob and remove the door. the lamp is held in place with allen wrench screws. loosen these and the lamp will pull out. The lamp part number is XL2200U.
It usually cost around $180.00 and it come with a allen wrench to remove and reinstall the lamp if you get it from Sony. The customer support number is 1800-222-SONY.
Once the new lamp is in, reverse the dis-assembly.
    I hope this helps,

I have ordered a ty-la1000 lamp for my panasonic pt50lc14 tv. the manual gives no information as to how to rset the lamp timer. please advise

I noticed that the manual on the below website has more information and instructions than the one that came with the tv on how to replace the bulb and reset the lamp timer, etc. Easy to do but they told me two years ago I had to have it done by a technician which costed me $300.

I have a green spot on my 2 year old 44" panasonic lcd tv.

I had the same problem, first a blue spot then a green spot showed up. I contacted Panasonic Customer Support. They sent someone out and they fixed the TV for free. They reprogrammed the EEPROM chip in the TV. It is a defect. My TV was almost 4 years old and out of warranty.

So long as it is not happening by something you have done. It will be fixed free of charge. Call them, it solves the problem.

Red light came on and said I need to replace the bulb? Panasonic said I could do it myself. How much does this cost to have repaired and is it worth it? The Tv is only 3 years old

Click here to find a lamp for your TV and use the housing from the broken lamp or you can buy the lamp that comes with the housing from this website.
If you have the user's guide, the instructions on how to replace the lamp can be found on page # 67. Here is the user's guide if you do not have it.

    Good Luck.

    Projection lamp timer reset

I need help resetting the lamp timer. Is there a way to reset the timer w/o the remote? We bought this tv as a floor model 4 yrs ago and they didn't have the actual remote that came with it, so they gave us another remote that works. We replaced the lamp but we keep getting the message that the lamp needs to be replaced and the timer reset. Plus the red lamp indicator is still on. We even used a friend's remote (he has the exact same tv) and it still will not reset the timer.
