Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

My printer, HP8250, only prints a header and won't print the rest of the page. I uninstalled the software, and am downloading it again now. I get to the screen that says: "Select your HP Device; I have a USB (direct connect). The box says No Device found, and won't let me go on . (I have a MAC OSX, version 10.3.9. The "header" that it prints is in Gmail. It quotes the title of what I want to download, but goes no further. I am using Firefox.

    I downloaded the software from the website successfully, then I got to the same point that I was at before where the computer could not find the device.

    After MANY, MANY hours of trying to fix this problem, uninstalling and installing printer software, I still couldn't get my computer to recognize the printer. I called the Apple support line. Two or three calls later, I talked to someone who suggested that I hook up the printer directly to my computer, and not run it through the router box that my husband and I use to share the same printer. It worked. My computer recognized the printer.

    So, I tried to print something again, and the same thing happened. It would only print the top of the page (which was my problem in the first place.) My neighbor suggested that I see if my ink cartridge was low. It was; I changed it, The printer worked perfectly. The whole problem was probably due to a low ink cartridge.

It is the problem with the software and also the page settings. This issue can also occur due to the corrupted registry.
How ever the best way to resolve the issue is 

1. Uninstall the software completely.
2. restart the computer
3. delete the temporary files
4. reinstall the software again

1)right click the my computer icon
2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager.
3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes
4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers
5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer
6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next
7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.

Try downloading the software from other web browser from hp site .

Try internet explorer .

Check if the "Print Background" in the Page Setup is active. By default, Browsers do not print backgrounds as usually they are images to save ink (they care for the users).

Lexmark s405 won't print in color


lexmark printer is not working properle but it can be fixed in simple steps :-
1.reset printer software and configuration
2. uninstall software and install it once again

1) Make sure your hp 1200 is selected as your DEFAULT printer.

2) Check to make sure that it will/will not print standard wordprocessing doecuments from MS Word, MS Wors, etc. If iot does go to next step.

3) Turn the printer off, unplug it from the computer, them unplug the power from the printer. . wait 3 minutes, then power up again. Try printing again. If not successful, go to next step.

3) Unplug the printer's USB cable from the computer. Uninstall, then reinstall the printer's driver software from the original CD that came with the printer. Follow the prompts during the installation and plug the printer's USB cable into the computer whan prompted. Test print again.

Hello. Try to unplug the printer from the power outlet for about 10-15 seconds to refresh itself. If that doesn't resolve the problem, it might be software communication issue. You can uninstall then reinstall the software. If you're computer is running on Windows, uninstall by going to Start Menu > Programs/All Programs > Lexmark Series folder > Tools/Uninstall. Reboot pc. Reinstall software. If your using Macintosh, go in the Lexmark folder and Uninstall. Reinstall software. Hope this helps.

MY HP PSC 1315V WILL PRINT THE HEADER AND FOOTER OF PAGES I TRY TO PRINT FROM THE INTERNET BUT THE REST OF THE PAGE CONTENT IS ALMOST INVISIBLE


Most web pages are in color. Your web browser adds black headers and footers. I would suggest printing a test page to make sure the unit produces color correctly. If not, you can force the output to be in black and white, which should be legibile.

On Windows, go to Start>Settings>Printers and Faxes, then right-click on your printer and open the Properties page. There should be a "Print Test Page" button at the bottom.

Prints Blank Pages

Thank you for posting your question at FixYa.com

It seems like, it's a problem with the Software from where you are trying to print & for sure not your printer & to make sure it's not the printer follow this.

1. Start -> Run -> Notepad
2. In the notepad, Type some text & save it on your Desktop.
3. Try to print out from the Printer.


Hope this will help you figure out the problem, also feel free to revert with the Software details & I'll be more than happy to assit you with that as well.

My Lexmark3150 prints and scans photos no problem but won't print a web page, only the header comes thru and the rest is blank.


Check if you have ink inside the color cartridge.
The characters in web page maybe in color so cannot print out, the header is in black ,so printed.

I have hp8250 photosmart printer it will not print magenta. all cartriges are genuine hp. I have cleaned printer heads numerous times. The problem is magenta only and no error codes show. when I print a...


Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Screwy Print


could be a driver issue...
try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver
also make sure that the paper size that you are printing is correctly set on the driver..

you can either download the epson driver from epson.com/support or add the resident driver built in to your computer (if you are using xp)

9800 won't print


turn the cheeky thing off, unplug it, all cables, replug it. Try again once back on. Did it work? If not, try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Good luck
