DDX-6019 DVD Case Screws

I just had my DDX-6019 installed in my Expedition. The installer noticed the two screws at the left and right of the DVD slot are missing causing misalignment of the DVD w/ the casing. I don't want to strip the screw holes but I don't have anything to compare to get the right replacements. Can some send me the specs on the two screws to include the diameter, length and thread per inch so I can get the right ones?

Thanks,
Bob

You possibly need ISO-mount flat-head screws. Check this and see if it helps.

These screws will be difficult to find unless you order them from Kenwood. Below is a picture of the display area from the service manual. If you could let me know which screws you need I can give you the part numbers for them. Or if you like, you can post your email address and I will email you the service manual so you can find it easier. I am not sure how this picture will look on this site. It is difficult to determain which screws you need from your description, there are several around that area.

You will need to find an authorized Kenwood service center to order the screws from. There will be one somewhere in your area.

it sound to me like you have a broken connection on yourvideo out jack on the main unit becouse you say the lead is fine and the tv screens work with another unit.this can be caused by the plug being pulled out in a wrong angle. ask an audio dealer to chech the solder connections in the unit to see if they are making a connection with the pcb(printed circuit board. hope this helps

haha ok shipping screw in a double din unit i have never seen before but in dual which is a big pos. but there should and will not ever be a screw that holds the laser in on a double din unit because the laserated in the very middle of the player on these models. sounds like you have a defective driver so i would try and get it exchanged or call kenwood
