My alpine cda 9883

Has any one had a problem with this model,
I.E., the lights would flicker at volume 7, and
if trying to turn up the volume pass volume 7,
it shuts off. And the FM, is always not picking
up good stations. Static, most of the time.
TIPS??? thanks

It sounds like it was hooked up incorrectly, and possibly a wire is loose... i would have it checked out professionally before something happens. The other possibility is that it is overheating and is going into "protect mode"... as i said... i would get it looked at professionally.

Check for blown fuses behind the deck and under the hood, sometimes by the battery, you may get lucky but you could have smoked the unit, and would not know anything unless you send it in to get fixed. Replacing the unit could be the answer Alpine CDA-9883 CD Player
