Question about HP PhotoSmart C4180 All-in-One Color InkJet Photo Printer
My printer seems to be working ok when I print from my computer. However, when I try to use the copy feature it just prints a black sheet of paper. When I change it to color to see if that makes a diffrence it still prints a black background and some text but too dark to see! I think the bulb is blown or something. I have already un-installed and re-installed the printer it self and it did not help any. Does this happen? can I replace the bulb to fix? Please help I love my copier and now it does not work!!!!
You are quite correct that the bulb is blown! Replacing it is a chore even with the correct specialized tools. This is not a user replaceable part -you will need to bring it to an HP authorized service center.
