Is this part something that is easy to replace? I know my way around computer/electronics components. I had purchased a 4 year warranty, and, of course, I'm 4 years 2 months after purchase date now. Any service I need to do now I'm on the hook for. (Never had to replace bulb yet, either.)

Chances are you have dirt buildup, get a can of compressed air, attach straw and give the cooling fan a few good blasts, blow out open ports. If no change, the laptop must be dismantled down to the motherboard level to do a complete cleaning and the cooling fan may need to be changed, the old thermal paste will need to be removed and fresh applied. Go to www.ebay.com Type: make and model of laptop, refine search to cooling fan.

This tv internal curcuitries and manchanical design have a colors wheel in it.The tv have loud squiling noises, motor noises, black&white or colors flickers and fating. All the effect of the tv colors wheel is dying and spinning off of it motor axis.Cooling fan make noises for a couple hours, calm down,no way.The fan would have stop functioning, way before that.

Our DVR is making whirring noises like it is trying to load a disc and we have no tv in the main room but the office has signal wtf?

Haha Dont worry dude its just your hard drive or your fan. Your DVR also cuts on around 3-4 a.m in the morning too download software so thats cool. If this just started too happend it could be your hard drive or your fan going out but if its only for a a set period of time its your fan trying too cool down your hard drive. But!!! If you hear it all the time and it is really loud than most likely you will have too get it replaced. Here are a couple things too try.
  1. Unplug the reciver for an hour
  2. If in a surge protector remove it and plug it directly
If you need anymore help let me know

Condenser shuts down after a couple of hours.

check capacitors, make sure the condensor coil is clean. sounds like the compressor is overheating. is the condensor fan motor still turning when it stops cooling. if not check low voltage wires to condensor, furnace and t-stat

Slow speed, fan coming on loudly in Dell D800

Yeah the slowdown is the laptop throttling back due to overheating.

When you do processor-intensive work like - streaming videos - the laptop overheats. The fans come on loudly.

When the computer heats up despite the fans, the processor throttles back to relieve the heat.

When you reboot your machine, it stops performing intensive work, giving it a chance to cool down. It's not restarting that fixed the problem it's the fact that the laptop cooled down.

So here's what you do. Get an air duster and blow all the dust and gunk out from your fans. They are most likely clogged with dust and that's what's causing your cooling problems. If there are large dustballs in there, use a tweezers and pull them out. Get as much out as possible.

Odd loud fan type noise

what you are describing is the cooling fan. That fan will come on to keep the electronic control panel cool. It is normal for tat to come on even if your done with the oven. I dont think is should be as loud as you describe. I would try the oven again and if it is still loud I would call for service because it is new. That fan will also come on when you use the self clean cycle.
