I had to remove my gas fire out of the van so that I could repair the blown air system but when I reinstalled the gas fire it seemed to have no 12 volt power so it would not ignight. On my fire there is a pcb at the bottom of the rod could this have gone even though it was working very well before I removed it. I checked that there is powere to it but nothing happens

Hi...
Most new stuff has the fuse/fuses mounted in clips on the power supply board.
If yours is anything like the one a picked up for one of my bands, you can take the bottom plate off and see everything inside.
Look for where the AC cord goes after the power switch.
There should be a circuit board with a fuse or 2 mounted on it
SOURCE: Well my 5500 amp has evidently stoppe functioning.
What I would do is look around inside and see if anything is burnt or broken, pay close attention to the heat sink area.
With neither channel working you have something that's common to both channels that is causing the trouble.
You should be able to see any fuse by looking inside, they might be covered up, but should be easy to get to.

It has a short circuit on the final steps of the outputs, maybe the common called "final transistors or power amplification IC (integrated Circuits)"are blown. You don't have the ability to resolve this problem, so take the unit to a facility authorized repair.
