I got this infection yesterday. It blocked AVG and Spybot from opening.
Cox provides free Mcafee, so I went to the Cox site and when they
re-directed me to the Mcafee site it would not open. It kept rebooting
me. Fortunately I had recently cloned my disk. I installed the infected
disk under my clone and AVG found the Renos trojan. Deleting it did
not fix the problem. I read on one site that this trojan probably
originated in Russia. I had been Google searching for MP3s of a Russian
singer I found on YouTube that I liked. This is when the trouble
started. I never click on any pop-up so I thought I was safe from this
kind of attack. Can anyone tell me if just clicking on a site from a
    Google search infect you?

I posted earlier with this problem. McAfee- for 50-60$ per year did nothing to help me. But Windows Defender had/has a fix posted on their main page. IT WORKED! Took a couple tries, but completely removed this trojan from my Vista machine. Don't know why this patch was not automatically included in their Defender updates, but they say a large number of people were getting this trojan, so they made this program to clean it out. I am soooo disappointed in McAfee not being on top of this problem that I just might switch to AVG- or Norton! I emailed McAfee and told them so, and they responded- (paraphrased), " we get 2000 virus updates per day out to you, and one gets by us, and you're upset. Sorry."
Again- the fix is on the left side of the Windows Defender home page!

Cant get to play farmville on my note book keeps tellin me 2 update flash player which a have tried several times and still wont work

I guess you have a Windows OS, so I will give you some advice concerning Windows OS. Propably there is something wrong with the Flash Player installation on your notebook.
I suggest you firstly, uninstall flash player using the Flash Player uninstaller from Adobe and then reinstalling Flash Player. Here are the steps to follow
1. Download Adobe Flash Player uninstaller from this link and save it to your desktop.
2. Restart your computer
3. Exit all applications. Check the taskbar and the system tray to make sure that no user applicaiton are running. For example if you see icons for browsers or IM clients such as AOL Instant Messanger or Yahoo! Messanger, right-click the icon and select either Close or Exit. At the following screen you can see an example of how to close a system tray application (the application displayed is Digsby Instant Messanger) nikolas152.png

You have to close any running application that may be using Flash Player. Such applications are web browsers, Instant Messangers (MSN, Yahoo! Messanger, AIM, etc.), swf files, Projector files (.exe standalone Flash Videos or applications).
4. Run the uninstaller. If any message asking you for permissions to make any changes to the system pops up, allow it (Yes, Allow, Ok).
5. Restart your computer
6. Visit the Adobe Flash Player webpage and check if the Flash Player is uninstalled. If the Flash Player is not uninstalled you will see some information like this nikolas152_0.png
In that case repeat these steps to completely uninstall Flash Player. In case the Flash Player is uninstalled, then from that same webpage you can reinstall Flash Player.
7. Play Farmville!

Radeon 9800 freezes the screen

assuming you have done a recent spyware and antivirus scan incase of any trojans or worms running in the background taking up processor usage, you may have a driver problem, especially if you have recently fitted another graphics card and left the old card driver installed, you should uninstall the old driver before fitting the card and installing the new driver. take the side off your pc and make sure also that the heatsink fan on your processor is not clogged with dust and ensure there is plenty of air ventillation allowed by checking ide cables arent restricting the flow especially near the graphics card incase the card is overheating. to give a clue to the problem if it is software driver related go to control panel>administrative tools>event viewer, then in the left hand column look on the applications line and system line and see if there are any red crosses or exclamatiomn marks relating to what you wer doing or running at the time.
