Thanks... hi, Thank you for your thoughts about my problem, I looked for the turn off options as what you suggested but somehow I coudn't findd where it is or maybe I just dont know how to find it. Is it the power plan your reffering of ? I also looked for it on the display settings yet thier is no turned off options there. As i looked at it I can only adjust the settings but theirs no way I can disabled it. Thank you very much in regards with this problem, I really appreciated it.. More power. airnox

zoric_aljmas, I would replace the parts since they are not that expensive! They will run between $50-$100 dollars for the power on/off button board with the interconnect cable.. You might even find it for a lot less if you due a search on the web!! You could take a look at this site and let me know if it was helpful:

How do you disable the wireless swich key on your laptop so it does not swich off on you ? It seems that it became loose... I am guessing I should physically disable it somehow ? Please let me know

Hi,

If you are trying to physically disable the Wireless Switch, believe you will screw up the computer as there is not such option to do the same on the motherboard. As this is a hardware issue, my suggestion will be to get the unit serviced at your favorite service center or Sony service center ( i think it is already out of warranty model)

Thanks
