Question about HP PSC 1410 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

E-mails won't print the last few words on the right side.

It's only the e-mails, printed copies work okay.

Your margins need to be adjusted. Do a print preview. You should see the margins. Click on the right hand margin and drag it over to the right until the rest of your document shows up on the screen. If you print it then it should be fine.

I could not print from ms word 2007

Have you been able to print previously or have you recently installed a new printer?

In word, check the paper settings are the same as your printers, ie A4 or an imperial size. If Word wants to print to A4 and your printer has no tray containing A4 then it won't run the print job.

Is there paper in the tray of the printer?

Can you print a test page from the printer menu itself to ensure that the printer is working okay.

Can't remove memory card from printer

hi

  • Ensure the MP970 is connected to a working electrical outlet. Turn the printer on by pressing and releasing the power button located on the upper left hand side of the control panel.
  • Step 2 Select the memory card you wish to use. Insert the memory card into an appropriate adapter if it requires one. Open the Card Slot Cover, located on the right hand side of the printer, by pulling the door out and toward the center of the printer.
  • Step 3 Insert the memory card into the appropriate card slot with the label side facing up. Confirm the Access Lamp is lighted. Close the card slot cover.
  • Step 4 Check the "Select and Print" option on the display screen. Select the "Okay" option.
  • Step 5 Load your preferred print media into the printer. Confirm Paper Source, Paper Size and Media type. Select the "Okay" option. Select the "Next" option. Select the "Okay" option to access the images on your memory card.
  • Step 6 Press the Left or Right Arrow buttons to select the image you wish to print. Press the + or – button to determine the number of copies of this image you wish to print. Select the "Okay" option.

Hi! you may press and hold the left button of your mouse from the start of the paragraph till the end of the last sentence of the paragraph that you want to copy. after you highlight the paragraph, you may press CTRL + C button on your keyboard to copy all the sentences, open a word document, right click on the word document and press paste. this will paste the paragraph on the word document. lastly you may press CTRL + P to print the file. Please make sure that the printer is connected to the computer and is on. Thank you for visiting FIxYa.com!

How do you make a double sided copy?

If you don't have a duplexer, the larger cover on the back, the only way to copy this way is to re-feed the print, print side up and copy to the back. The duplexer sticks out of the back about 3 inches, the plain cover is just a flat rear door.

Cannot print correctly from the internet it will only print the code but will print from my documents fine.

You'll find that you have to select (highlight) copy and then paste it to say, a word file. Now about the only way you can accurately print something from the internet is if you see Printer Friendly- or print from copy.
If you have never copied and pasted before this is very useful...Select what you want to copy, right click and you see the word copy...now as long as you don't right click again it will stay just as you selected it. Now go to Word, word pad, note pad, almost and thing with a blinking cursor, open it and right click again and choose Paste this time and what ever you copied will be displayed. Very useful commands,
Good choice on printers, I have a photosmart 1000 and it still works like new.
Hope you can follow my jibberish.
Please leave a rating, thank you kindly

    E Mail read out

2 possible and easy solutions to this problem.
    1. If you need to keep the formatting, including the e-mail headers and other information, look for a Printer Friendly sign or an icon of a printer in the e-mail program itself. If your e-mail program doesn't have this (and it really should), consider opening another e-mail account with a well-known e-mail provider, google, hotmail, yahoo, etc. and send it to the new account and print it from there.
    2. If you only want to print the text: click and drag on the page to select the text or click on the page and use ctrl-a to select all the text. Then cut or copy (right-click the selected text and select cut or copy) the text into a word editor such as Microsoft Word, Lotus, Notepad or the like and print it from there.
    Good Luck!
