The Quality brand of laptops are made by EliteGroup (ECS). I could not find the model you mentioned. Look under the laptop, there you would see Model info and serial #. Also, if you know what motherboard and processor it has, let me know.

- My laptop will not start because the message i get is the following file is missing or corrupt:<Windows root>\system 32\ntoskrnl.exe.
I have tried to reinstall the recovery disk but it stops at 80%. I'm wondering if the file is missing on the recovery disk.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.- f_chisick

The ESC 558 is the same as your model,ZX-5580, you can find the drivers and info on this link:
