The combo rubber and stainless watch band has worn out and broken into several pieces. I went back to the dealer to buy a new band, but he no longer sells this brand and could not tell me who does. The altimeter feature is unstable. I can set it according to the owner manual but it will drift within 24 hours. I can drive from 4200 ft. to 7000 ft. in about 30 min. If I set it at 7000' then drive to the 4200' location the watch will be off about 12-15' The drift increases from 30 to 50 ft. per week, to that in a 4-6 weeks the reading has increased over 150 ft. and will read 4350' or more when standing at the lower calibration point. The barometer feature works backward and is also unstable. I can check the barometric preasure on the internet for a Sea level location like San Francisco. When that reading is set, the local reading for my home at 4500 feet is higher. It should be lower, higher altitude lower barometric preasure.

It sounds like IC (integrated Circuit) in your watch is mulfunctioning, but can be something else. Can't say without inspection.None of the readings mentioned by you is acceptable.
As the watch is purely microelectronic, there is nothing you can do but to take it back to the retailer and ask for repair or replacement. If your watch is just 10 days old, this must be done under warranty and at no cost to you.
Don't forget to rate, please.
