Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer
I have installed the software to my laptop and the message says finished. However there was no information given as to when to attach the cable from the printer to the computer. Therefore, I can't print. I attached the cable anyway after installation was completed but I still can't print. A test page printed ok. But any documents from word will not print. Is there a specific port I need to connect to on the laptop? Do I need to "add hardware? I am not very computer literate.
Looking at the setup guide, it does indeed tell you to not connect the usb cable until prompted by the software. It is Step 7.

Kodak Support has step-by-step instructions for uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Just make sure you remove the USB cable from the computer and reboot before you reinstall.

to download the correct software for your PC. You need to be exact with the
Printer Model number and the OS that you are using.
To install just Double clock on
the driver setup.exe file and go on clicking 'Next' until you get the 'Finish'
option and restart the PC.
