Question about Fenestrae Faxination Server (FNMSFAX05125)

1 Answer

Fenestrae Faxination 4

Dear support, I have this problem: I send a fax to a certain destination. At the destination the fax appears like it is shrinked. There is not a clean A4 format. It's like someone has squeezed the text on the page. Thank you!

Re: Fenestrae Faxination 4

Try with using the fax's cleaning tools. They can be reached by going to: Control Panel -> Printers and other Hardware -> Printers And Faxes When there, right click on your fax and click properties. Then go to the tab Maintenance and use the cleanings tools provided there.

Mails sent do not reach their destination. It appears in the Outlook sent as sent.

To check the exact reason - we have to follow few steps one by one as follows.

Due to following reasons mails may not reach their destinations,

Other End Problems
1. Email address typed is wrong or does not exist.
2. There is problem with the email address - like inbox capacity is full, incoming mail server is down.
3. Recipient received the email not in inbox rather in bulk/junk box - so tell him/her to check junk/bulk box.
4. Your email address is blocked by them (recipients).

Your End problem
5. You have not clicked the option "Server Authentication" or other configuration problem you made.
6. There is virus problem in your computer creating malfunction for outgoing emails.
7. Your outgoing server problem.

So I am guiding how to check all points one by one tactfully to detect exact reason.

First verify the email address you typed - then you send email to the same email address from your different email.
Try to use same mail server (your end) for checking as some time few black listed mail servers are there.
You request the recipient to check the bulk/junk box - or send email waiting few hours.
Tell the recipient whether your email is blocked or the domain of your email address (as is domain of email

Now this is the very important point out of the all points - please consult with your mail server admin and check whether you have checked the Server Authentication Required option in mail client software like Outlook Express.
You please configure the same email in different computer (virus free) - try the same.
Wait few ours and send to other email addresses - and check.

I think you may easily rectify the problem.
Happy Computing.
I think I have been able to answer to solve the problem. Many Many thanks for using Fixya.

This is usually a line connection, or dialing problem. Are you sure the fax modem is connected to a working telephone line? are you sure your sending to a fax machine? Do you require any prefix (like a 9) to make an outgoing call? Are you dialing all the proper digits to make a call?

Net satisfaxtion (Fax Back) is not able to use OUtlook distribution lists. After choosing the distribution list, TO: and returning to the Send page, there is nothing in TO: and I cannot send the group fax

Make sure that the contacts in the distribution list have fax numbers entered in their contact information. If they don't, then the behavior you described... where no recipients are shown in the TO: field... will happen when selecting a distribution list. If only some of the contacts in the distribution list have fax numbers, then only those contacts will appear in the TO: field.

I can't send to certain fax machines with WinFax Pro

Yes, some modems might have problems with Service Pack 3. You might need to update the Windows modem drivers.

Alternatively, there might be problems with the settings in WinFax for your specific modem.

You'll need to post more information on the fax modem you are using.

Fax once,Received Twice?

It is mostly likely on your end. Sometimes if the line drops or for some reason the fax is interrupted it will resend the entire fax. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's faxing twice each time. If it is, check the settings closely in the software to be sure there isn't something strange set to send twice.
