Hi,

I presume that you can copy your photos to your computer and the problem is how to record them to cd. If thats correct, you should use a recording software to do this. There are many available like Nero Burning Rom (comercial) or some free software like Final Burner Freee, K3b, CD Burner XP and others. You can easely find the software browsing.

If your problem is to copy images from your Olimpus to the computer, I sugest you download the most recent driver for it and to update the equipment firmware. You can do this by going here and downloading the software for your model.

Hope this helps you. If not, don't hesitate to contact.

I woud suggest you copy the pictures into your computer first

then burn the pictures into a cd or dvd as data disc use nero or other burn program www.nero.com

this way you will have a cd full of pictures.

Camera not properly reading memory card

The problem stems from deleting some of the images from the PC. You need to copy all the files onto the PC, and delete all of them from the card on the camera. Then reformat the card on the camera. Then take 1 picture on the camera.

After you have just 1 new photo on the card, try copying the older files back onto the card in the same directory as the 1 new photo. This may work.

If it doesn't work, the problem may be with missing hidden thumbnail files. In that case you may not be able to get the photos to display on the camera again.

Lumix Simple Viewer - Copying files to CD

I have "acquired" photographs from my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX 8 using Lumix Simple Viewer onto my computer, and I am able to view them. However, I need them in a format that I can now copy them onto a CD or attach them as files to emails (without using the "Send by e-mail" function). I am sure this is simple, but is anyone able to help me?

I am trying to install the Camedia Master software into a new pc, but when the disk gets to 90% loaded it freezes.

A CRC error (Cyclic Redundancy Check) is a data corruption error. This basically means that the data read from the media did not match what was expected to be read by the software. I would say that it is most likely that the source media that you are copying/reading from is corrupted. It is also possible that the destination media that you are copying to could be the source of the problem. If it is a hard drive try running scan disk or other disk repair software, if it is a CD - clean or replace the CD. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
