Question about Sony PCG-TR3A Notebook
I can't start the computer and there are horrible noises coming from within, I need to replace the hard disk. I've been told it's not worth it- buy a new one. Can I replace the hard disk with a faster drive? If so, is it worth it? Is it complicated and/or expensive?
All hard drives run at the same speed, if its a sata drive data access is quicker but that is memory relient, you can repace the hard drive but you'd have to shop around for a good deal, i recomend seagate because they have a five year warranty on them, installing them is fairly easy you'll just have to install a brand new operating system as new hard drives come unformatted
