Question about Umax Astra 2400S Flatbed Scanner
My scanner was working fine one day, then the next when I tried to scan instead of going to the VistaScan software it it took me to a scanner test screen where I got this error message. I can find no information on what this error number indicates and I've checked all the connections to my scanner, unplugged them all, rebooted, plugged them in and rebooted again. Still nothing. Any ideas?
This souns like a memory error, where the scan is too large for the pc to cope as other programmes running have taken their peice of your RAM, other than that, uninstall the diver in Add/Remove programmes, disconnect scanner. Re-install driver and re connect scanner when prompted and see if the fault goes away. Please rate solution.
