Question about Projection Televisions
SOURCE: Bang & olufsen Beovision 7-
Nice TV set. Try first unplugging the tv for ten minutes, this quick hard reset will drain power from tv, and sometimes it solves the problem when TV is freezing on startup.
If this soes not work there must be a service reset procedure.

could be the projector bulb is dead. open it up and check the bulb. if it's discolored and burnt looking, you need to replace it. if it's still under warranty, the bulb may be covered- but i doubt it. if the bulb looks good try removing it and re-placing and try again. it may be a little loose, because of thermal expansion and contraction when it cools down. a wee bit of wd-40 can help! i mean, put some on a paper towel, and apply to the threads, or bayonet connector, whichever! if its 'spring loaded', a little wd-40 on the base contact couldn't hurt either! be careful with the wd-40- it's a great contact cleaner, but is flammable!!
so use very little and let it evaporate a little- the bulbs get very hot!
good luck! by the way, the bulbs are not cheap!
