Question about Canon V75Hi Camcorder
I have a Canon V75 HI. The problem is that the play mode doesn't work anymore. Any tape (old, new or cleaning) is eat. A red tape blinking signal shows in the display. I don't what it means. Thank's in advance for the help.
look for a tiny pinhole and insert a pin while powered up to reset the device. if no-go, then the take-up reel needs attention...needs possibly a new or well-cleaned-with-alcohol-swab rubber belt

SOURCE: canon xl1 heads
Trained technician can clean the video heads individually and manually but I do not recomend it for general public. Best you can do is to purchase a good head cleaning tape. First, dust off the tape loading area with can air, then run the head cleaning tape for 10 seconds (our general recomendation is 5 seconds) but NO MORE. hope this works. -James.
