Question about Epson Stylus Pro 10600 InkJet Printer
I had my waste ink pads changed less then 7 months ago.I am getting a error message saying the waste ink is almost full. There is no way it is full. How can I reset so the error message goes away. Thanks
Hi there you can download this from my website.
SSC Service Utility allow you to do many amazing things with Your Epson printer :
1) Work directly with CSIC in Epson Stylus printers cartridges.
2) Reset or rewrite any chip using special addon device.
3) Freeze internal ink counters.
4) Reset internal ink counters even with empty cartridges.
5) Separate cleaning of color and black heads for all Epson inkjet printers, powerful cleaning mode.
6) Hot swapping of cartridges supported.
7) Resetting of protection counter (even then it is already full).
8) More then 100 different Epson printers supported
This allow many people with high printing demands to save some money (program works with both black and color cartridges).
Up to day this software works under Windows 95/98/ME/2K2/XP with both the LPT and USB printers.

Download the SSC service utility for epson but your printer is not listed as compatible with this program but you may try to reset with protection counter the waste ink full message.I had try to do than on some unsupported models and it works but i em not sure for this mode.

Normally your remedy is to replace
the "Waste Ink Pad/Pads" with a new one/ones and then reset the
"Internal Waste Ink Pad Counter". The waste ink pads are normally
housed in a black plastic box. They are located in the bottom of the printer,
towards the front, just under where the paper starts to exit. You would have to
remove the "Top Cover Assembly" to be able to get to the screw or
screws that hold that assembly in place. If you cannot figure out how to remove
the waste ink pad holder assembly [plastic box], you may need a service manual,
for the removal procedure.
Also Replace the following parts and
reset the counters as described below:
- Waste Ink Pads
- F Box
- Pump Assembly
- Cap Assembly
- Cleaner, Head
- From Maintenance Mode 2 enter the Counter Init. Menu and initialize the Waste Ink counter and Cleaning counter.
