Do not change the Freestyle battery on your own. this will void your warranty!

You won't know what battery it takes until you pop the back off and see what battery is in there. I've opened two identical watches and on the inside they had different movements that required two completely different size batteries. The trickiest part with Disney watches I've done is if it's musical, getting that to reset. Be careful, a lot of people don't realize how easy it is to mess up those tiny little parts, get dust in there, put the back back on wrong etc...

The jeweler should be able to put the back on again. He/She has the tools.

back off, remove old battery, install new battery, back on

Unscrew or pry off the case back. Remove the metal strap holding the battery in place. Sometimes you have to remove screw in the metal strap. Look on the battery for the type and order by that number. Put back in with fingers or plastic tweezers. Do not use metal tweezers as it will short the battery.

You can remove it with a pocket knife and it will pop out but the problem will be putting it back and that is only done with pressure that is put under a machine.If you go to a flea mkt they will do it for $5-7.00 for the battery and the cover pressure is free once the battery is changed.So make sure you get a good long time warranty battery so you dont have to change the battery frequently.

when you look at the back are there three small rectangular indents evenly spaced on the edge on the back? If so you'll need a special tool for opening waterproof watches. the tool adjusts to fit the three indents then press down as you turn counterclockwise. you can find the tool on amazon.com or your local jewelry store. make sure the gasket is in place and not damaged before screwing the back on.

the type f battery will be written on the battery and you can usually find them at a drug store, hardware store or jewelry store that sells watches.

to change the battery of fossil blue watch,just open the case back and remove the old battery,look the number size on the battery and put a new battery that same number size ,after replacing battery press the case back tight to avoid water damage !good luck
