Re: dryer will not start
Your dryer may not be receiving adequate voltage to start. Make sure
your dryer is plugged in. Also, check the circuit breaker panel to make
sure all the circuit breakers are in the correct positions. Or check to
make sure no fuses in the fuse panel are blown. Try plugging something
else into the same outlet. If it won't work either, then there is
likely something wrong with the power outlet. Any of these could be the
reason power is not getting to your dryer. Also, refrain from using an
extension cord to plug your dryer in.

First, check the door switch. Push and release it by hand and you should hear a click. If no sound, replace the door switch with this part. If the switch is ok, press the cancel button on the machine. Then do this. press and hold the start button for 2 seconds then release wait 2 seconds and press and hold again for 2 seconds continue this pattern until the dryer goes into test mode. You will see all the lights on the control light up. press each button on the control one at a time 3 times each. (Do not press the cancel button) until the dryer begins to run. When the dryer starts to run then press the cancel button. Then your machine should function properly.
Take a good look on the control panel on the right ..It has a button that says press for 3 seconds for to lock ..Im not sure on your model ...but all models have a control locking button ..It may be the start cycle one ..If it is ..you have to press he button for 3 seconds and will unlock the controls .. This happens when you try to make it start the cycle and hold the button on ..too long ..
Thanks for using FixYa. It seems to be an issue with the belt. Please check this video on how to replace the belt in dryer. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
is the other lights DIM(partially lit)? If so it could be one of the following. 1.) Intermittent ribbon cables between the control board and the Interface board (one with the buttons) Reseat all four cables. 2.) faulty control board. 3.) faulty Input board.
When this problem occurs are the small lights on very dim? If so I would turn off the power and remove the top off the dryer. Then re-seat the 4 ribbon cables on the display board. Alot of people replace the front panel or control boards when the problem really is the ribbon cables. If the LED's are not lit dim then you may need to replace one of the two boards.
Possible door s/w or thermal fuse. If its blowing thermal fuses with a clean and avg vent run check the relay, cycle unit with no heat fuction if the heat still comes on replace the relay board. Call your local servicer.
