When I try to print a document using office word or excel the printer does not print and the office program stops responding. Then the document can not be cancelled from the queue.

Print preview makes excel 2007 stop working

The Smart Technologies Notebook Version 11 software certainly seems to be the culprit. Taking the cue from Bob Cochran, this is what is what I did and the problem has stopped. Open Excel and click on the Office button at the top left. Then Click on Excel options. Click on Add-ins. In the "Manage" window, select COM Add-ins and click Go. In the COM Add-ins window uncheck SMARTInk-Excel-All and click OK and "poof" problem gone!!!

I can not print from Windows 7 Microsoft word 2010, the pages come out blank, can print in excel and other office programs just not documents please help have tried everything

Make sure you are installing CURRENT drivers/software offered by HP for your printer for Windows 7. Get it here:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-photosmart-e-all-in-one-printer-series-d110/4023244/model/4023245

Maybe the issue is not printer related. Maybe Word 2010 needs some sort of update. Windows Update will update Windows OS and other Microsoft products (I have a Windows 7 PC running Office 97, Windows Update treats it like Office 2003 and STILL updates it!).

Or, you could manually install them:

https://www.google.com/search?q=word+2010+update&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1

Good luck.

I have printer HP PSC 500 S/N SGH02E112T WORKED FOR 5 YRS - NOW WILL NOT PRINT EXCEL SPREAD SHEETS OR WORD DOCUMENTS - STILL PRINTS EMAIL AND INTERNET DOCUMENTS HAVE HAD OTHERS CHECK SETTINGS...

Friend,

There's apparently a problem bwtween your Office suite and the spooler. Usually uninstalling/reinstalling the Office suite will fix the problem. (please do a backup of all your Office documents before proceeding!)

When reinstalling, please make sure that any antivirus program is shut down or deactivated during install, in some cases for example Norton Antivirus will block files that need to be updated, causing problems. You SHOULD use some form of virus protection when using your computer, don't get me wrong! :)

MY X1240 will not print the text .

Did you run test page AFTER new cartridges installation?
Please print text from different programs: Noterpad, Wordpad, Office word, excell, Browser etc..
If you see text in some other program check settings in "text not printing" program : MSWord has a setting in Options blocking texts.
If you never see a text, check "Printer Preferences.." different from "Printer Properties.."
Let we know if fixed by scoring this solution or tell us results for any further support.

Excel Print Queue Delay Problem

It has to do with your collate settings on your printers properties and the collate settings on your first print screen that shows up when you go to print. First when you are ready to print select print from the file menu in excel then go to the properties of the printer you are going to use and make sure the finishing properties are set the way you want them. Hit ok then you will be back at the first print screen. Here uncheck the collate box and then print. I am unsure but this may work. I had a similar problem a while ago and I know if I played with the collate check box it would print much faster other wise each time it was going to print a copy of the document it had to resend all the information again to the printer, which took forever.

When I print from Word with my hp1600 I'm getting blank pages at the beginning of the print..If My document is 5 Pages I get 5 blanks before actual printing begins. If my document is 1 Page I get 1 blank...

try using a different word program such as open office* or even notepad, if it prints correctly then try reinstalling microsoft word as there maybe some accidental alterations in the printing setup on word.
alternatively try reinstalling your printer.
*open office is a free to use program*

hope this helps
