How do i repair an ASUS z53E motherboard?

Have you confirmed that it is indeed the laptop? (IE attached another power supply of same voltage/amperage) Sometime, cords can become frayed inside the laptop power supply cable and not show any outward signs. This wear and tear leads to unstable power and the laptop senses this and will not boot.

If you have, have the laptop checked at a local repair shop to see if it is a loose connection on the motherboard. Ports coming loose from the motherboard because of wear and tear is very common.

Motherboard always cut off a few second after being power on.

I suspect that your cooling fan has stopped working or the sealing mating between the fan surface and the CPU is not intact. These fans quit working because dirt and grime gets into the fan shaft and friction slows the fan . also if the fan gets accidentaly moved on the CPU, then this breaks the heat transfer tape between the CPU. This over heating causes the CPU to fail. Open the machine and observe if the fan is running correctly.

see your cpu fan connector, weather it is connected properly. to check wether psu is working properly, short the black n green wires present in the psu's mother board connetor by using a single strand wire, and switch on. if the fan rotates there is no probs with the the psu. then u will have to replace the motherboard

The small fan does not want to run, it runs for a few seconds and stops, my computer keeps rebooting

when the fan stops 2 things are happening 1 the bios sences no rpm speed from the fan or the processor heats up to quickly and the safety in the bios will shut it down. try moving the fan connector to the case fan connector then go into the bios and change the fan settings. this is only a temp fix the fan stopping tells me that the onboard cpu fan regulator is going out and this is a precurser to more problems to the board going out. also just to be certin check the power supply 4 years ago i came across this in a gateway it was weird.

Trouble shooting

OC failure = over clocking failure. Make sure the CPU fan is clean, free from dirt & dust. Check CPU fan plug is connected correctly. If the CPU fan still stops after a few seconds replace the CPU fan.
It's harder to find just a fan to fit your heatsink, which sits on your CPU. It is easier to find a new heatsink \ fan combo for your Intel. Use your manual to find what Intel chip is on your board. Use that information & search google for a heatsink & fan combo. Pay close attention to how your current heatsink is mounted to the Gigabyte board.

No boot, got continuous beeps at first, reset my 'savage2000' VGA card

The solution may be to locate the JBAT1 terminal and move jumper from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 for a few seconds and back again. Turn on pc and then hopefully you can access the bios to set the time and date and save settings then re start.
