Question about Car Audio & Video Accessories
I recently had my Ford Focus MOTd & serviced. Since then the cd player stopped working and shows error code - E12. The radio part of the unit is fine.
I tried using a cleaning disc but even that wont work.
Can you help?
if you don't have the code you will need to take stereo out and have it decoded look for a car audio specialist in yellow pages they will be able to programme a new code

you need a bladed screw driver, a philips (cross) screw driver..
Thats it,, you have to remove the piece of dash covering it,, (There are screws hidden like under the draw) and then pry it off with the bladed screwdriver..
remove the brackes holding the cd player, then unscrew the player itself.

Remove the radio from the dashboard
Then post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the radio casing
It usually begins with M * * * * * *
