Question about IBM ThinkPad T42 Notebook
I turned off the touchpad in the system tray and plugged my usb mouse in but it doesnt work so im stuck with no mouse at all i tried enabling in bios but touchpad was already enabled how do i solve this problem
Any idea why the USB mouse isn't detected? Is it a Special series of mouse needing software?
Does the laptop have a PS/2 connector, so you can try using an old PS/2 mouse and try with that?
Maybe with some short-keys (like Alt-Esc for the windows Start button), you can reach the software or config application that you used to disable the mousepad...
Try that one, and see if it helps you...
