Do you have a wiring diagram to wire a security motion detection light between 2 3-way switches so switches can be turned: (on-Motion)/(on- Completely) from 2 differemt locations?

One of the switches needs to be a 4-way then the PIR will act as any other switch. The downfall is if the lights are on and motion is sensed they will turn off.

My preference is to connect the contacts of the security device across the travelers of the three way circuit. The travelers are probably the red and black in the three conductor cable. When motion is detected the lights will turn on regardless of the settings of the three way switches then after timeout they will turn off. If they are turned on with one of the three way switches nothing will happen when the motion detector turns on except you cannot turn the lights off until the security device has turned off.

I hope this helps. The motion contacts need to be isolated from the motion detector power.

Here is a page of diagrams: http://www.do-it-yourself-help.com/3_way_switch_wiring.html
You have to use a 3 way switch on both sides. You should be able to get a motion light that has an always on feature. To activate the feature then you need to turn the light on off on fast and then it stays on. Ceck with home depot or someplace like that for lights with that feature. IF not then you are going to need to run another circuit.

Erratic remote operation

Have to see if this is the problem inthe remote or the controller in the door control driver,
So first use the remote from close distance and move off, if the fault of non communication starts, then it can be poor tranmitting or poor detection.
Hence positon the sensors to a bettter postion so that the trigger works better.
If not the detection amp inthe controller unit may be faulty

A float switch come in in many different sizes and applications, mostly related to plumbing or mechanical plumbing applications, I suggest you search the web for your make and cat# or contact the manufacture of your product. If you have lost the installation paperwork, it should be available on the web by honeywell.
