My usb flash drive is corrupt its not allowing me to access my files, i'v tried downloading software, and it says its too full but unfortunately i cannot format because i have important files on the drive. and now the files are hidden.

Go the the Verbatim web site and search for your product
at the bottom of the screen is the support button
click it then go to downloads
and download the V-safe software again
then drag the downloaded file back onto your flash drive
then just click on it and just put in your password again....it should access the private zone then.

copy and paste the files you want to the other device. the START menu will contain My Computer and you will be able to see your USB Flash drive..Open your flash drive, then locate the files you want to 'download' or usually its called 'Copy' by right click the picture and selecting copy, then go back to your USB Flash drive window, right click and select paste... Easy Fix.. You need to reformat your USB File System to NTFS rather than FAT32 (Default). FAT32 limits the size of all downloads to 4 GB. NTFS has no upper limit so you could download an 8GB file, if you wanted..... FAT32 is the default on the unit you have. Easy fix.... right click on your drive, click 'format', 'file system' change to NTFS and click 'start'. That's it ! ! ! !
