I am not sure but problem could be in your button problem. Just restart your handset and then check if the problem persists.

The first step in attempting to correct your problem is to see if there are any software updates for your phone. Keep in mind, this may or may not not solve your problem but it's the first thing you should try.

To start the software updates:
  1. Select Menu > Applications > SW Updates.
  2. Choose the software you'd like to update.
  3. Follow the instructions.
Tip: You can set your device to alert you when new software updates are available.
  1. Select Menu > Applications > SW Updates.
  2. Select Options > Settings > Auto-check for updates
  3. Select On and OK
If this doesn't correct the problem, the next step will be to contact Nokia for repair. If you're in the USA click here:
Nokia USA Repair

Outside the USA:
Click the following link > locate the box labeled: Call or email Nokia Care > Select your Country from the drop-down list and follow the instructions. Click here to begin: Nokia: Support

Forget the phone lock code

If you need the SIM Pin number to switch the phone on, then you have to enter any Pin number 4/5 times, then the phone will request a PUK number. This number was on the plastic card that your SIM card was attached to. If you don't have it, only your Network Service Provider can supply it to you.

If it's the Security code you need, to get into certain settings IE. erasing received calls, missed calls, timers etc... the Nokia default is 12345 if you didn't change it, but if you did change it and you've forgotten it, let me know, I'll tell you how to retrieve it.

N70 Problem

Try a reset:
First turn it OFF, take the SIM card out.

Press * 3 send at the same time and turn power on. Keep them pressed untill the reset screen appears.
Give it time to work.

This might not work but it's worth a try.
I think your phone has been Black Listed.
It must have been reported stolen.
