String caught in fan of Craftsman 79474 garden leaf blower

A string hanging out of my pocket got caught in the blower blades of my craftsman garden blower. Need to open the casing, but 'screws' need some kind of special tool that I don't recognize.

Thanks

How is the fan cover opened on craftsman leaf blower model 316.791650?

The fan cover has a lock on it. Take a screw driver and insert it into the slot and slightly move it and the plastic clip will move out and unlock the cover. I am talking about the cover for the vacuum. Hope this helps.

How do i replace the starter rope on RY30570

Remove screws holding front and back plastic casing. Remove trimmer shaft with casing. Watch out for spring when you remove the string reel. Best thing is to push the knot out of handel and either cut it or untie it to release all tension on the spring before removing the string reel. The rest is kind of learn as you go.

Pull cord will not pull out for model 358.794765 on craftsman blower/vac

you may have blown your engine. try to move the piston up or down when you take off the spark plug. if it does not move you may have broken a piston ring and the piston may be stuck because of the broken ring. you can also try to check the starter string where it is coiled in the spool. it may be just tangle up. remove the casing and check the string off of the engine.

I have a craftsman line trimmer, I believe it is model #79107, pull string to start and string will not go back in ???

This can be a challenge to repair. The Torx screws holding the casing and machine to it will have to be removed to access the starter/recoil unit. If you have opened one up before, it's not that bad...if not...it's a real learning process, Take your time, you will need Torx head screw removal tools and a little patience. Once you reach the starter unit, you will realize the problem. Go to that point and maybe post again later?

One side of the tractor is cutting higher than the other

Make sure you don't have a flat tire, first. If tires are OK, the mower deck may need to be leveled. Look at the arms that suspend the deck under the belly of the tractor. Make sure there isn't a branch or something caught in the mechanism, keeping the deck from hanging down where it should. If all that is OK, then the deck must be re-leveled. Park on pavement. Find the nuts on the suspension arms that can be loosened up, turned to a different position, then retightened. Use a ruler or a mark on a block of wood to ensure the left blade tip is the same distance from the ground as the right blade tip.
