Question about OKI B4200 Led Printer
We have a number of b4200 printers in our office and have had 2 of them in the last few days stop responding. The error cycle is this: Printer turns on (all lights flash on), Its does the engine test and turnes the gears, At the end of the engine test the lights flash again and then the Error and feed lights flash for about 5 seconds and then it resets and starts over again. This will continue until you give up. The status monitor just says "Communication problem" all the time, the computer is plugged in using the USB connection. Ideas?

This means that the interface type settings are incorrect in the Printer Menu and might be due to trying to use half duplex comms instead of full duplex, you are trying to use TCP/IP when the printer has this option turned off. It could even be as simple as something wrong with the interface cable being used or a mismatch in USB1.1 to V2.
