I have just repaired this same fault, check voltage with test meter on the main board from the power supply it is labeled with 0v -12 +12 and 5v (two of these) if the voltages are either low or rather high (usually within 5%) replace all the electrolytic capacitors on the power supply PCB ,( it's the small one in the corner next to mains inlet.) This should fix it for about £10.00. Hope this helps

Possible there is a fault in the feed voltage to the display as the power supply can be pulsating. Please check the voltage on the display panel using a analogue multimeter and if it will shows a drifting signal the power supply unit must be checked . test voltage on the board to confirm if any capacitor has gone weak. If there is no voltage shift then the display driver IC is faulty.
Ok, my Elan Via!dj unit was doing the exact same thing. This is how you fix it. Take an aluminum baseball bat and in an over-the-head, ax swinging, motion, strike the unit from the top 4 to 6 times. Dispose of unit in dumpster. Fixed. - John Wilcox of San Diego California
Power off the unit. Under the right corner of the drive tray is a small hole (see pic). Find a paper clip that fits the hole. Straighten the paper clip and slowly push it in the hole. The drive tray gears will begin turning forcing the tray open. Gently pull tray all the way out. Power unit back up and see if it starts to respond again.
I don't know if it will completely fix the issue for sure but it is worth a try. I have had good results using this method if the drive is not truly broken.
You can't fix that anymore, your windows copy is now "corrupted or impotent".
If it won;t work on safe mode, probably your system files are at a bad condition.
Recovery disc might get you to startup again, but if ever there is a virus it will just happen again.
I advise you to reformat if you don't have anymore files to save.
If ever there is, well... maybe get a linux live CD so you can browse through your hard disk again.
Hope I helped, cheers.
Hello, If you look on the connector on the main board (not the power supply) it is indicated, it is quite small writing, you may need a magnifying glass.
I had a similar problem with my Rangemaster Toledo 110. The glass cover would move slightly but would stop as if being held by something. I went to the Rangemaster website and the checked the users manual which suggested it was a simple operation of turning anticlockwise. Eventually I got a pair of vice grips and opened them to their widest and clamped them round the glass. The slightest of pressure and the glass moved past the stop point and off!! I've replaced the bulb and put the glass back on only hand tight and in anticipation I've loosened the glass cover in the other oven - just in case!
