Question about Microsoft MN-700 Wireless Router (p5308j)
My internet wasn't working so I went into the router and changed the WLAN (not sure exactly what it's called) to a static IP. Once I hit save changes it all froze up. After about 30 seconds I closed the web-browser, and now I can't get back in to the router configuration screen. So none of my computer's have any internet connection anymore. Any suggestions of how I can get back into the router and change it back?
Some routers such as Netgear have a reset button which can set the router back to it original configuration.
To reset Netgear routers remove the power connector from the router, use a sharp point and press the reset button, hold this button and insert the power connector, wait a few seconds and withdraw the sharp point from the reset button.
You can now configure your router to suit your ISP Internet connection.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
