Question about Brother FAX-575 Plain Paper Thermal
Is there a reset or fuse to replace to restore power on a brother fax-575
Same thing happened to mine. Store said I needed a new one, but unplugging for about 20 minutes triggered a normal reboot, and it seems to be OK. It was not out of film.

In my case, it was enough to disconnect the machine from the 110V line for about 10 min. When I plugged it back in, it rebooted in a couple of minutes, worked normally for a couple of minutes, and then indicated that the ribbon had run out. I wonder if the reason it shut down was that the ribbon had run out.
