Question about Computers & Internet
this sounds like a very common driver problem. I would go to the manufacturers website and download the latest drivers. If this does not fix it then its possible that you need to clean the inside of the DVD rom. There are a few ways that you can do this but the best way in my opinion is a cd cleaner disk sold in your favorite computer shop. You buy the disk, pop it in and let it run. This has fixed many of my clients Optical drives in the past and only takes a few minutes.
