Contant blinking of green light on Mitsubishi WD 52725 DLP TV

The tv started to produce vertical lines of different colors and not respond to the remote nor the tv buttons. Resetting took care of bit. Finally it just got into a continuous blinking of the green light. How do you do self diagnosis on this TV? Even though I am not a TV service tech. I do have many years of experience in electronics. I can use any tips or guidance. Your help will be very much appreciated.

Try first unplugging the power cord for ten minutes, then we can troubleshoot further.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-52725 DLP TV and green light (timer) is rapidly blinking after a power outage and set will not turn on. The bulb was replaced a month ago and it has worked fine since. Now it will...

Hello
make a System Reset process. To do this;
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off, press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may again turn on the TV. The changes you made the last time the TV was on before you used the SYSTEM RESET button may be lost, however, the changes that were previously saved are not lost.
OK.

No display or sound on Mitsubishi WD-52725

This is a DLP They have issues with the color wheel, the winding sound could be from this color wheel. If it stops spinning it will cause the tv to shut down. DLP is a mechanical display process. If you are handy and understand electronics you could replace this yourself. If not i would let a tech handle it.

TV gets vertical colored lines, then shut off, green blinks conti

Bad Capacitors in the Power Supply could cause this. This Chassis has be famous for bad capacitors through out many boards. If you are not comfortable with working on the unit, and most are not, I would call a professional. The Chassis may need to be sent to Mitsubishi to be refurbished. This is a expensive repair and it would be advisable to call a Mitsubishi Professional to confirm diagnoses. Mitsubishi's Customer Service Number is 1800-332-2119. They also may be willing to help with the cost of repairs.
I hope this helps,

Mitsubishi Model WD-52725 timer green light blinking fast

My Mitsubishi WD52725 will not turn on...the timer light is blinking. We pushed the reset button, unplugged tv. Just got off the phone with Mitsubishi customer "service." After answering numerous personal questions, and being on hold for several minutes, I was told that the only solution was to push the reset button. Duh! We'd done that several times with no change, which is why I called them! BIG WASTE OF TIME!!!!
