sounds like a driver issue. try to update the driver for it. if it says you're using the most up to date version, then uninstall the driver, visit the manufacturer's website, download the driver, and reinstall it. If that doesn't work, then the hardware itself may be busted.

It doesn't look like Lenovo supports Win7 for this product only Vista and XP. The Vista driver should work fine. You could got to the video manufacture and see if they have a driver update. (Intel GMA graphics)
It is quite possible that you may have to update the drivers for your video card. It is true that the device supports upto pixel shader 2.0 that is the DEVICE but if the DRIVER installed does not then the computer will not know how to use the video card in the right way. So update the driver and you should be ok.
