I can see from looking at the specs of your computer that you are running a 64 bit processor with Windows 7. Is that correct? If this is the case it could be possible that the drivers for the secugen hamster plus are not compatible with 64 bit processors. When you go to the developer's website to look for drivers they are usually separated and described as either 32 bit or 64 bit. You can see an example of such here:
http://www.secugen.com/products/sdk_pro.htm
That is the Hamster IV. It is 64 bit and 32 bit compatible.
Now if you look at the Hamster Plus here:
http://www.secugen.com/products/php.htm
It only has one listing for drivers and does not state whether they are 32 bit or 64 bit. In this case I would assume they are 32 bit. Not all is lost however. You may still be able to run the 32 bit Hamster software in a virtual environment. To circumvent this problem, Microsoft allows all owners of Windows 7 to download and install a virtual machine that runs 32 bit Windows XP. It is called "Windows XP Mode". It's simple to install and easy to use and should allow you to run your 32 bit applications pretty seamlessly.
