Find "Caller ID"
Press the phone icon.
Press the menu icon.
Press Call settings.
Press Additional call settings.
After a moment the current settings are displayed.
Press Caller ID. Turn your own caller identification on or off
Press Hide number or Show number. Return to the home screen
Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
Please press "Feature 59" on a display phone. That will tell us the release of the phone system. Your system may not be caller ID capable.
The reason you are getting caller id on your cell, when the phones are forwarded is because you are paying for caller ID on your cell phone....and your cell phone is caller ID capable.
Voice Time/Day Stamp 1. Make sure the answering system is ON. 2. Press flash/answerer/call waiting button on the handset to enter answerer remote mode. 3. Press key  to enter Time/Day set menu on handset. 4. To set Hour, key in -. 5. To set Minutes, key in -. 6. To set AM/PM, press the CALLER ID-VOLUME (5or6) button. 7. Press #PAUSE/ringer button to confirm the setting. 8. Press Caller ID-Volume to set Day 9. Press #Pause to Confirm 10. Phone will then Announce the Day & Time
Press the mute/program button, then press the caller ID-volume button to select handset setup (then press mute/program again to select this option). Next press tye caller ID-volume until you get to Default settings (its the last setting so pressing the up arrow is the fastest way to it). Press the mute/program button again to select the option. Use the caller ID-volume button to select 1yes. This will return the phone to the factory settings and for took care of the blinking blue light, however you will loose any custom setting or numbers you entered.
The first time I did this it didn't work, so I did again and toward the end of the steps above the phone beeped at me and stated "Reset Default Settings" (or something like that) then time I hit the mute/program button again and everything worked great. I think that last beep maybe have been a are you sure you want to restore to default question.
Remember tis will erase any custome settings you made on the phone (ring tones, ring volume, memory, etc.)
Press feature 00 Press left intercom twice Then right intercom once. enter your extension number
You will see the lights blinking green on the phone, where your lines are. Touch them until they are solid green. If you want to program another extension, press the right intercom button again and enter the new extension number.
Once done, press feature 00 to exit programming.
As far as the caller ID, there is no way to turn it off on the Partner system. My guess is the provider isn't sending caller ID.
The KX-T7731 is a proprietary system phone. You have a Panasonic phone system. Caller ID is transmitted between the first and second ring but the phone system itself is the only part that gets this information. The system has to be compatible for caller ID and it has to collect the caller ID data and send this information to your phone(s).
Your phone can be used on many different Panasonic phone systems. The phone's part number does not help you. First thing you need to do is find out what system you have and if it has caller ID. The phone system part number should start with KXT like your phone.
only thing i can think is the IP function might be on. ( and of course, u do have the caller id through the phone company activated, right,,,,just checkin) . this funtion is not available in the USA. to turn it off, press SET/SAVE, press UP to select SET 4 AUTO IP, press SET/SAVE to select, press UP to turn on and off, then press SET/SAVE to confirm. hit DELETE to return to main screen. hope that helps.
